Lens Waste Installation

Demonstration lenses support spectacle shape during transit and improve customer experience before prescription lenses are fitted to a frame, but they are essentially a single-use plastic waste stream - one that the eyewear industry isn't doing enough to tackle. This installation not only transformed some of MONC's waste, but also started important conversations within our community. To bring my design to life, I enlisted the help of a York-based kinetic artist, The Illuminist.
